Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms apply between Yu Co., Ltd. (“we”) and people who use the App. By using the App, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The App is generally intended for people aged 18 and over.

2. Service

The App helps you record and view meals, protein, fat, carbohydrates, calories, and targets. It can use AI to assist with estimating meal names and nutrition values from text or voice input. Information may be associated with an anonymous user identifier. You are responsible for your device, connection, and Apple Account or Google Play account.

3. Estimates and health information

AI estimates can contain errors. Actual values vary with products, portions, ingredients, preparation, and individual circumstances. Review and correct displayed information before using it. If you have health concerns, are receiving treatment, are pregnant, have an eating disorder, or need other care, consult a physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified professional.

4. Subscription

• Your first AI use starts a 7-day in-app trial. It does not require a purchase, start auto-renewal, or consume the monthly 10 free AI food logs.
• After the trial, AI food logging is available within the free allowance shown in the App. AI target chat is available during the trial or with Premium and is separate from the monthly free food-log allowance. Manual target adjustment remains free.
• Some AI features may be available through an auto-renewing subscription. Current price, term, and included features are shown before purchase.
• Premium removes the monthly limit on AI food logs, subject to hourly and daily limits that protect the service.
• Purchases and billing are handled through your Apple Account or Google Play account and renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the period. Cancel through your store subscription settings. Deleting the App, local data, or the anonymous account does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds follow the rules and procedures of the store where you purchased, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not violate law or public order, infringe others’ rights, disrupt the service through unauthorized access, analysis, modification, excessive access, or other means, evade payment or security measures, or use the App or AI output for decisions that could seriously affect life or health without professional review.

6. Changes and suspension

We may change, suspend, or end all or part of the App because of maintenance, failures, security needs, changes to external services, or other unavoidable circumstances. We will provide notice where reasonably possible for important changes.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We do not guarantee that the App or AI output is accurate, complete, suitable for a particular purpose, continuously available, or error-free. Except for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot be limited by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, special, or lost-profit damages or loss of data arising from use of the App. Where consumer protection or other applicable law limits this clause, our liability is governed by that law.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms when needed because of law, the service, or operations. For a change that materially affects your rights or obligations, we will give advance notice by a reasonable method.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Unless applicable law provides otherwise, the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes concerning the App.
